I wanna be your Fantasy Girl

Yes, I know, If I am trying to be a regular blogger I need to post more than once every 2 months. BUT NO ONE even read the last one!.. Actually I don't know that, I am just assuming. And we all know what happens when you assume! ... Anyway... Back to the matter at hand... I am sure that my title will catch some attention, at least I hope it will.


I am taking this blog thing in a whole new direction and I hope that it will be the correct direction. What I want to do is to talk sports and the like. I L-O-V-E sports. LOVE THEM! Can I say it one more time? I LOVE SPORTS. And yet I am a female. I am not one of those girls who gets upset when the man in her life disappears on Sundays... I am the girl who disappears first... I WANT a man cave!... And no, I am not the girl who thinks they like sports... and picks a team because their colors coordinate with whatever they are wearing that day. Nope... Just a note, I am Boston fan through and through.. So while I might write about ad neaseum about the Pats, Sox and the like, we can discuss other teams. Again, I digress...


Lets talk about your fantasy (ahem... Football Team). How did everyone do last week? Was anyone surprised about some of the points that some of the players got or didn't get? I was... I mean c'mon... 39 points for AP?.. If this becomes the norm,I will be very upset as I could have taken him because I had the first pick in my draft, but I went QB..Speaking of QB's, what about Drew Brees and Tony Romo? Fluke or for Real? For Drew, you can't play the Lions every week in New Orleans, so we will see... I am not suggesting that he is not a good QB, but 36 points?, sorry he is no Tom Brady (more on that later). Tony Romo? 32 points on my bench... Interesting, I don't think it will last either... However, I did trade Matt Ryan for Tony, so maybe it was a good trade? We'll see in week 8 if that was a smart trade or not. Or maybe we will see this week when the Cowboys play the G-Men... So what do you think about week 2? Do you think that we will see Romo, Brees, and AP put numbers up in the 30's again, or was that a one time thing? I personally do not think that any one player is going to get anywhere near that this week, as all week one jitters are gone and most teams are going to buckle down and play... AND THAT INCLUDES THE PATRIOTS...


"Bring em out, Bring em out" ..... I had to wait an extra day to say that, as Tom Terrific and the Patriots did not play until Monday. Let me tell you... I could not have been more excited! That excitement quickly turned to horror as the unthinkable was about to happen... Then Tom Brady threw 2 TD's in 76 SECONDS!!!! that was "Tom Brady just being Tom Brady" but in a good way... he got me 21 points in my FF League... Respectable, although I remember in 2007 there was a week he gave me 53 points ... Carried the team! I could not believe how bad we looked against the bills for 55 min.. It was excruciating! That cannot happen this week against the Jets.. Hopefully it was just nerves.. Which I am sure (hope) it was... But all this talking the Jets are doing is stupid in my opinion, why would they talk about knocking Brady down when Anthony Smith did that in 2007 and Brady threw 2 TD's against him??? The Patriots do not need any locker room hype... But now they have it and combine that with the close game on Monday... HMMMMMMMM..... Could get interesting!!! Heres to week 2 in the NFL.... Maybe on Monday I will blog about the Red Sox ... We'll see though

T-1 Day

Well, here goes nothing... Today is the first day that I am actually trying out this blog thing... And I thought that since there is not enough out there on the topic, I would blog about my passion for sports. But not just any old blog about sports, I thought that I would begin my blog career about Fantasy Football. No not the fantasy of Tom Brady not being married to only the sexiest woman in the universe, I am talking about the one where you hope you have the first pick in your draft so that you can DRAFT Tom Brady. Oh wait, that was last year.... My how things have changed...I am trying not to turn this into all things tom brady all the time, but I will say this .... BRADY IS BACK, BITCHES!!!!



As for fantasy, I got into it about 2 years ago and came thisclose to winning it all on my first foray into the rodeo. But enough about that ... I will keep this blog updated with all my fantasy goings on as they become available, because I am sure that you are all aware, preseason has not even begun... I digress.... This year I am the league manager in ESPN, in a league called ... "is your hotel beeper friendly?" Referencing the hangover.... with divisions "So long Gay boys" and "Paging Dr. Faggot" .... Juvenille? Yes Immature? yes .... But when you are only one of 2 girls in the league, you do what you can to keep the boys interested...




Finally, the title of the blog is "the kitchen sink" ... I will be talking about more than just sports... Pretty much what comes to mind .... And boy do I have a lot on my mind...
